Invigorating Lemon Eucalyptus Soap Recipe

lemon-eucalyptus-soapHere is a simple melt and pour soap recipe I came up with recently. The image to the right was my first batch which didn’t turn out as well as my second attempt. For my second version, I added kelp powder and cloves which helped enrich the scent and color a lot. Below is the recipe for version 2.0!

This soap has a nice green natural smell and appearance. Enjoy!

What you will need

Add Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil to soap base

Directions for making Lemon Eucalyptus Soap

Start by melting down your soap base in a Pyrex bowl. Microwave it in short bursts to prevent over heating the base. When it’s all melted, you can mix in all the ingredients. Be sure to mix very well to break up all of the kelp and incorporate the ingredients fully! When it’s all mixed up, pour your soap into your favorite soap molds. I used oval silicone molds I got on Amazon and they worked out perfectly. The 1 pound batch perfectly filled each of the 6 cavities.
